MakerJuice WaxCast Resin

WaxCast was designed with casting in mind. It has been meticulously tested by jewelers, dental labs & engineers around the world. Through the testing process, the features most sought after in a casting resin were perfected:

  • Less than 0.1% residual ash after burnout which ensures a smoother surface finish in your castings
  • Non-reactive with common investments (eg:  GoldStar Omega + | Plasticast™)
  • Optimized for 25 – 50 micron layers
  • Low degradation of PDMS vat coatings
  • Quick layer print times (Solus = 1.1 to 2.4 sec)
  • Low odor for use in commercial settings
  • Resistant to most solvents, including alcohol & acetone

Additionally, there are some new features to WaxCast not previously seen in affordable casting resins:

  • Made with the highest quality Natural Wax – incorporating natural wax allows you to easily attach 3mm wax sprues for attaching to wax trees for casting..
  • UV Reactive Coloring – with WaxCast, the resin changes color from a darker red to a light orange when fully post-cured.
  • Suitable for the Solus & B9 3D printers
  • When used for lost wax casting applications we recommend GoldStar Omega+ investment
